Showing for verification, please, this zinc CCC by Funk & Bruninghaus, Ludenscheid. It has typical features of this maker, notably the "upside down" maker mark close to the catch. There is a flat-wire, flat bottom "C" catch soldered to a round disc which is soldered to the back plate. This example does not have the vertical die flaw as found on many, but I understand not all, F&BL marked clasps.
I believe this to be a period original piece. Your opinions will be appreciated.
Thanks,
John
