    Got this badge a few days ago. Some collectors don't like rivetless examples by GB and consider them postwar... But... I still like it)

        Never heard these were post war. I like them, if you look close you can see the tank is soldered onto the reath at the edges. This is a nice original bronze 50, you just dont see the 50's plus its bronze. nice!

          I dont mind them at all and I especially wouldnt mind that one! That is one of the nicest GB's I have ever seen.

              Not fakes, but postwar assembly) It's just an opinion of some our local collectors. Actually I don't care here much because I like what I see and have no doubts about originality)

                    Alex Nice PAB, Impossible to find a pab made by GB in this Condition as the material used was of poor quality compared to the the ones made by JFS. The base metal used on the GB pab's was not a good base for the finish & they reacted against with other which caused the finish to detoriate.

                    GB are also Highly faked & imo thats why a lot of collectors are very weary of them..


                    Nice Pick up, This would have to be the Nicest PAB i have seen by this maker !!!!

                        It can be so... But from the other side:

                        a) the stamp is the earliest one and without dieflaw
                        b) to solder the tank is much harder than to rivet it

                          Looks OK to me as well Alex.

                          Put together from wartime parts is certainly a possibility IMO. But the fact that it is the earlier, flawless type speaks against this and also haven't heard of Brehmer active in the postwar souvenier trade.

                              One of the possible reason mentioned in Philippe's book - rivets were out of stock for some period of time. Later types of GB PABs were with rivets also.
