And that's the real question ... i could be but it could be not. I have the fear the the mint stuff of today could be the early postwar production. On the other hand some declared postwar stuff could be in fact wartime stuff.
Based on the pictured article we know now:
- the allied forces allowed the makers to re-produce awards
- there was a real market with demand for the awards (and not only some souvenier searching soldiers)
