Experienced collectors dismiss out of hand badges they deem to have been cast.
Given that die-casting was a legitimate manufacturing process in the TR, I'm assuming that the specimens referred to have been hand cast by pouring molton metal into a mould. How can they be identified as such?What to look for? Greatly appreciate any guidelines. Respectfully,Steve M
