Strange Panzer badge??

What is to say about this badge?
I really dont know much about it, I'm of course not an expert but I have never seen it before.
Especially not with gun pointing left and no normal clip at the backside.

The device is an Armored Marksmanship Shield, grades 5-8.

Each branch of the armed forces had their own device for the marksmenship lanyard there are 3 groups grade 1- 4, grade 5-8
and grade 9-12 these were awarded to individuals for proficiency
with firearms it was worn from the right should to the top button.
