Can you get the precise height and weight? The finnish is weird, from the obverse it looks allmost like brass.

Looks very good to me as well. Color does look a bit odd though as Thomas says, maybe its ground dug or has a brass coating under the finish..

I agree with Thomas here. The finish looks a bit strange, but this could be explained by the lightning in which this picture was taken. Judging by the nice black color of the pin, it seems like a very nice piece in excellent shape on top of that!
