    CCC with unknown crimping

    Hi,

I friend ask for my opinion, but I never saw that variant before. The crimping on the backplane is unknown to me, maybe a Deschler with too much crimps???

    Thanks

Very interesting and also the first for me. When I would see this my first thought would be that the backplate was replaced and recrimped. But these top marks seems like the same Deschler crimp marks from the side! I also see no evidence of a backplate being moved. Nice piece
    Kind regards,
    Giel

I like it, and for me too is the first time I see so many crimp marks on a clasp!
A workman overdid with the work!

          Hi guys,

A fine original and not often to see more than the 2 side crimps on these Deschlers, but a few others are known, here is one of my Deschlers with the same 3 additional crimps at the bottom.

And a preview of the new updated CCC book that is on its way.

Nice clasp M-e-h-t, interesting to see attempts to stop the plate coming out.
Glad you mentioned that Tom, when will the updated book be out ? It's on my shopping list but I'll hold off for a bit. I assume it will be announced on here.
