    Recent Acquisition

Picked up this lot of medals and badges in a trade. The lot came from a picker who sold it to my friend for $250.00. Anyone want to see some close-ups of any of these?

The IAB on the left looks to be a Post War Souval and the one on the right a Wiedmann.

I would like to see close up and reverse pics of these two.

    Best Regards, fischer

Sure. First the one on the left... (BTW, it doesn't look like a post war Souval to me)

Looking at the KM badges, it seems you have a nice Schwerin HSF badge and Auxilliary badge looks very promising as well. I would recommend to post close ups of these in the KM forum.

BTW, who made the infantry assault badges and the panzer badge?

The first one you posted unfortunately is a hollow fake of the RS design...

The PAB is made by Schickle.
                    Kind regards,
                    Giel

                      Hi Tom,

Yes, the IAB is a fake but all the other look good so far. Especially like the Weidmann IAB with rarely seen wide pin.

As Giel says, the PAB is a nice early Schickle

                      Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

I agree with what has been stated...The hollow is a fake and the obverse design is copied from (my opinion) the Post War Souval examples.

The second is a wide pin unmarked Wiedmann Design example.
Normally, when found these are in worn condition and are known for having a "ground dug" appearance. Yours is a nice example.

                        Best Regards, fischer
