    L/53 H & C L Close Combat Clasp.

Just found this CCC this past weekend.

Guess this is a difficult maker to find....

Looks to me that the backing plate might have been re-glued to the badge.

    Enjoy,
    Howard

Bought it from a friend in Texas, maybe you saw it there??

This is the first one of these I have owned in 25+ years of collecting/dealing.

Greg, you are for sure not the only one looking

Great piece Howard! I wouldn't mind the glue at all!
            Kind regards,

Very nice fine Howard, great rare clasp in very nice condition. Even with the glued-in backplate, the plate itself looks original so that is the most important thing.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

                  Thanks for the comments.

Here are a couple more photos.

Seems like a nice gouge to the top of the badge.

                  Better photo of the L/53

                  Regards,
                  Howard

                    Thanks Guys.

Posted the CCC on the e-stand.

Found some cut-off cloth I want more than the clasp.

                    Cheers,
                    Howard
