Either looks like someone removed the hardware and painted it with Testor's silver or else it is just bad. Very, very weak details. One thing about this maker - always CRISP details. So pass on this thing...

To me looks like cast copy variant of flatback

My first impression was that this was a ground dug badge with new finish, but looking at it again I will have to agree with Aiceman.
                Kind regards,
                Giel

                  Thanks for opinions.
Not sure guys, if it help, but badge made from zinc and doesn't have cast traces, also has a lot file marks. Don't want to push it into original, but same time don't wont to put questionable badge to repro basket. More opinions are welcome.

The obverse details look good to me. Perhaps refinished though due to lack of striations on the reverse. Could you post a better pic of the back? Your close ups are much better detail wise. But it still has what looks to be a thick layer of silver which is uncharachteristic of this maker.

I have two mint army flak zink badges by HA and FB.
                              60 x 44-45 mm, 22-27 gm.

On mine, the detail is much sharper, surfaces much smoother, like from a die strike.

On yours, detail looks like a superbly made casting (dental quality, very small bubbles and blems)
Look at all the tiny bubbles inside your leaves and on the gun ... is it from the zink base metal or from the poor quality finish?
