Anyone know the maker of this Infantry Assauly badge?

Just found this in a recent buy.

Has a faint bronze tint. The badge was vaulted an cause the light split to the rifle near the sling area.

Maker mark of a "W" to the reverse of the rifle.

    Thanks,
    Howard

      Hi Howard

This is a cast fake of a broken stem IAB.

      Regards,
      Eric

          Hi Howard,

I agree with Eric, decent cast fake of the Rettenmaier/Flatback IABs.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Honestly, I'am pretty Scott makes these in his basement. He stamps the "W" on them because he came from Wisconsin. Since he is a huge Packers fan I advised him to use "GB" instead. He wouldn't listen as he now lives in Texas and everyone down there thinks that "GB" is some sort of gay inference........
