    IAB with SS Totenkopf inscription

Some time ago I bought al small lot with battlefield relics. The winterhelp interested me and I wanted to keep them but the rest and the most damaged items I would resell.
There was a damaged battlefield recovered IAB, it was not complete so I wanted to get rid of it. When I looked more carefully to the back of the IAB, I saw that there was a stamped inscription with SS . Totenkopf and a very faint /S (this time the s in rune)
I thought that is one for the collection, I am not going to sell this one.

My question, are the more IAB's or other german badge's that have inscriptions or inscriptions comparable with my IAB. I was looking on the internet but I could not find anything to compare with.
    Any opinion is welcome.

In the last picture the inscription can be seen.

It looks to me like this mark was stamped in recently to increase the value of this badge. I doubt that such stamped pieces existed during the war...

      I agree, looks very suspect.

The badge is an original RK, but with bogus stamping...notice how the first "S" doesn't have any of the white corrosion inside the letter, its perfectly outlined which suggests the stamping was after the corrosion appeared.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
