PAB 25 by GB - strange

    Hello guys,

what do you think about this one?

It has a strange attachment of the "25" and there are no rivets, though I was told that the tank stays on the wreast.

    Any idea about this one?

It was offered with some other original badges.

    Have only these photos.

    Best regards,

    Emeredato-Militaria

        This is an acceptable variation.

I've never seen this variation before. Does mean it's fake nor does it mean that it is real.

This is a well known variant of original GB badge, I have only seen them in bronze that I can recall. Textbook example.

This is not a very commonly seen variation. So it's definitely understandable to question it if your not familiar with it. I believe the reason for the lack of rivets was that Brehmer ran out of them and improvised by soldering the tank to the wreath.

It's original late war example, as mentioned: typical in bronze grade.
Take a look in Philippe de Bock's book, maybe this one variant should be print...

Nice original GB PAB25...with nothing wrong with it at all.

The badge is 100% original IMO. Why it lacks rivets, we can only speculate about.
