Help with Tank Destruction Badge

I gave up on these a long time ago, however if its in a group of good stuff...well you know that goes.

I've never seen one of these that's original with this backing color. Almost a slate gray.

I don't have a good feeling about this piece, so I need some help from my forum friends.

Is it good or fake.

The direction the black thread is running is one of the first indications it's bad.
