          Hi Yuri,

Nice badges , the F&R is one example of a very large family and the silver one is the famous Flatback, indeed by an unknown maker. One of many manufacturers using the "Wernstein" design.

For a long time I had doubts concerning these PAB's but in the meantime I'm confident that they are ok. The variant hinge on your example for sure strenghtens me in my believe. Is your also a heavy weight + 40grams. Just recently I learned that these badges also seem to exist with a more down to earth weight.

              Yuri......

.... the hinge mounting plate on the "unknown" silber PAB is a spot-on match for G.B.'s numbered PAB's........

                Hi Yuri,

Nice, definitely one of the "lightweight" examples

Here are it's two heavy weight brothers (silver 40 bronze 42 grams) that came out of the same die but featuring the "classic" hinge most often encountered on these flatbacks.
