    Want to show one of my new additions. A type 1 bandenkampfabzeichen, with special thanks to Thomas Bendixen for his help.
    All comments most welcome. There was some doubt it's being a silver or gold. (bought it as a silver)

                        Bronze was my thought, too, but perhaps the colours are better/clearer in real life?

                          You are right Ludwig, badge looks different in hand. Not much finish left but when you look at the 6 o clock possision you can see some remaines. In hand looks like silver or gold.

                            Btw why this type is called 1st? Imo the type with the needle pin is an earlier production with better quality and type of the finish.

                              Nice example Rene. My thought was bronze too, based on the finish at the bottom of the reverse. The pin however, looks like it has silver finish on it so I am not sure.
