Heeres-Flak Unknown Maker Pillow-Crimp or fake?

Hi guys!

Please look at this badge, it looks like the same type that is published in Marc´s book on Flak badges page 330, based on the Vienna-design.

The thing that raised a bit concern was the construction of the hook, in all other bagdes of this type the hook is inside the pillow crimp, on this one it is a bit different as you see from the pics.

Is this a fake based on the Unknown Maker Pillow-Crimp or is it a Good one?

Catch may be repaired. Looks like it may have popped off and the base applied before the catch. Of course it could be a factory mistake. Hard to tell. But the catch should be under the plate. Original badge though!

Catch is totally original and is like that as the crimping tool failed

I agree with Patrick here. Completely original piece. As with all pillow crimp badges the crimping tool broke in the end so the catch was soldered on. Absolutely nothing wrong with it!
