Shuco IAB, the fever began again!!!!

    Hello folks!!!

A year ago I decided to stop collecting medals etc.

One point was, that it´s not very tolerated in Germany and you can´t show your collection to somebody. Everybody kicks you at once in the nazi corner. So I wanted to sell my collection.

Now I´am happy that I only stored the collection away, because the medal collecting fever came again.

On a private house fleamarket I found some medals and so I was in heat again.

I decited now, to go on with my medal collection and took my collection out of the cellar.

Here is my newest buy at that fleamarked. A shuco IAB.

I would like to hear opinions about this piece please.

    Regards

    Thomas

Congrats on your latest addition, looks to be a very nice ShuCo (4) vein example...

        Hello fischer!!!

Thank you very much for your opinion and answer. It´s a bit sad that there is only one answer in this big community. That´s life.

Regards and again thanks to fischer.

Looks like a nice one. Is it usual for these to have the reversed hook? I've seen it on other badges as well, just not sure if I've seen it on a SHuCO before.

            Hi Thomas,

Congratulations on the nice SHuCo IAB. I am happy to hear that your collecting spirit has returned. Don't worry about what other people may think of your hobby. I thoroughly enjoy this hobby and I never feel the need to apologize for my interests or explain to people why I collect.

            Welcome back & best regards,
            Tom

              Hi Dale,

IMO, a reversed catch is very common on these SHuCo IABs.

              Best regards,
              Tom

Thanks Tom. I'll have to dig mine out of the shoebox one day and take a look.

The bug once bitten never leaves....this is an incurable , and terminal disease....there IS no cure for it yet known to man but ....oh you can quit a million times, and the first time you think your cured, and all at once see a good badge at a good deal like this "lefty"shuco , or anything else....you immediately get this feeling inside that says.....BUY IT QUICKLY ! QUICKLY!..and you go into autopilot damned near breaking your arm to get your wallet out....NICE badge...so you must have gone early to the sale ? Another thing about putting things away, when you finally go back and look at the stuff again, you swore the stuffs making babies, because you sometimes forget all the items you laid back....like a time capsule...Its been determined , you have the dreaded "schnatzihunters disease..."
