    IAB in Silver for Review - marked JFS

    Hi all,

    I am completely new to badges, in fact this is the first I have ever owned. It came with a uniform grouping I purchased along with a wound badge. I wanted to post it here and hopefully get some additional information on rarity of the maker, material, time period etc. Anything would be helpful - I am simply trying to learn as much as I can about these. From what I understand, JFS is a fairly common maker. Incidentally, I am surprised by how heavy and solid this thing is!

    Although JFS IABs are common in bronze, they are a bit uncommon in silver. And from what I see, yours is perfectly original. Congrats on your first one! It's desirable.

          Thanks guys, I must say I wouldn't mind getting a bit more into badges now!

          Btw, what would a badge like this be worth? I would never sell it exclusive of the entire group, but would just like to have an idea of the value.
