    Unmarked IAB - Deschler?

    Hi guys,

Here is another recent addition to my IAB collection. Unmarked Deschler-design with a nice copper coating under the silver finish; you can really see it well on the pin. Comparing this to the L/10-marked IABs, I couldn't see a difference. It seems like the same obverse die was used, would you guys agree or are we looking at a different maker here? Deschler used the same reverse hardware setup on their marked badges, so a little more evidence these were produced by them.

Does anyone have a Deschler-marked IAs with copper coating?

    Thanks guys.

    Tom

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

      Hi Tom......

......Are you going to post the reverse of that L/10....or do we have to hunt for it?

        Hi Bruce,

Here it is. I didn't bother posting it because it is certainly a different die than mine (semi-hollow with raised L/10 mark). But the obverse dies seem to be the same to my eye.

This L/10 marked example is from Fischer's excellent collection btw.

        Thanks

        Tom

            Hello Tom,

I know you asked marked, but I thought I share with you my newest addition which is also a copper coated unmarked Deschler, but with different set-up.
