I agree, I also think it's probably a repro, with the main pin removed to make it harder to ID. I see poor/weak detail (maker mark, obverse wreath details missing, eg acorn x-hatching) and there seems to be too much gap between the tank and the wreath. I could be wrong, but from the pics, it's not for me.

I agree, its a fake for me as well. Soft details, crappy hardware (catch), poor number box fit, odd base metal look, etc.......all red flags.

To me, It looks like it's made of lead. (a casting) possibly a 60s repro.Comment

Not a badge for me, it looks like some one just now have removed the pin if you compare the finish on the badge and the finish there the needle should be
