    Antipartisan in Bronze w/zinc pest??

Here are the only 2 pictures that I have of an Antipartisan Badge that I believe is a late war variety badge made of zinc. Is that 'zinc pest' on the reverse & is it real? I hope these will be good enough to make a judgement.
Ooops! Also, can anyone make an educated guess as to it's value, in this condition, if it is the real McCoy? $400, $600, $800???
    Thanx,
    Tim

From the pics I like it, I would say 1800-2200.

Real and I agree with the price quoted by Bob, a bit of vaseline and that badge would come up beautifully.

I am dealer but have a fetish with APBs. If you ever grow tired of it, please remember me!

Agree! This is the type I like best! Be very careful when/if restoring it!!!

A new straight on pic of the badge. It looks like a go. I paid for it a minute ago and I should have it in a week or two (Cross my fingers!) and then I will ask about the proper usage of the Vaseline or whatever so that I don't screw it up.

I got it. Here are more pictures. How should I use the Vaseline in regards to the zinc pest to preserve it without screwing it up??

PS- By the way, I found out that the vet that brought it back was in Austria.

Rub it in gently with your fingers, then gently remove it with a microfiber or soft cloth.
                              Nice badge!
