Need some advice regarding price.

I was hoping to trade this zink badge for a unmarked tombak version and Detlev Niemans priceguide from 2010 sets price as follows

1. Buntmetal C.E Junker 700€
2. Buntmetal 500€
3. Zink C.E Junker 500€
4. Zink 300-400€

So now when I asked for a trade Zink Junker for a unmarke tombak (#2) I was informed tha a tombak heer flak is very rare and last one this person saw for sale sold at 4000€

So is it an impossible trade you think?

I would say it is a badge nearly impossible to find or trade. Militaria Berlin has one for 5400€ on the site. But sometimes you might have luck, who knows. I got mine quite reasonably...

Tombak!?!? I think we know of maybe a handful in the world.

The Tombak Heeresflak is the HOLY GRAIL of flak badges. In Garlasco's book he has one in perfect condition. Beyond that we have seen MAYBE 4 or 5 on the WAF. Best of luck FINDING one let alone buying it...
