I have to agree with Torsten, you posted a similar comment to me two days ago and I chose not to respond to it. You would be surprised how much home work we actually do , sure I could spend hours trying to work out the maker of a none maker marked badge, but there are collectors on here who sometimes specialize in purely that particular badge who are more than happy to answer the question in a matter of seconds.
If anything Torsten should be congratulated for doing the right thing and getting a second opinion on his badge before he sells it. I too sell militaria from a wide range of eras and have been doing so for almost 30 years, unfortunately it is just not practical to buy a book each time instead of asking a question which people are more than happy to answer anyway, that's how we all learn and that's why we have this forum to help each other out.
