    Hi

    Horrible pics, and something funky as far as I can tell with the hinge! What he heck is that circle on the backing plate?

    I like the bluing on the plate but the circle freaks me out!!

    I did not make these pics lol! Can anyone with what we have here make heads or tails of the clasp?
