    Minty NS Juncker

    Hi guys

Adding nice panzers to my collection is getting pretty hard. But this weekend I was able to pick up this bugger here. A stonemine (uncleaned!) NS later war Juncker in absolutely stunning condition. It was found with a slightly dirtier twin brother!
    Hope you like it

Nice badge Giel. I'm curious whether the one's with the dent in the R/H headlight came earlier or later. I read somewhere that the splayed hinge type came "later", but could have been applied to the ones with the "dent" too. What's you're feel on that?

        Thanks guys

@Ken: I think both hinge and flaw show that this is one of the latest NS Junckers.

What I'm very happy with is the fact that this badge is uncleaned. You can still see some old dust on places you'd expect and the fact that it was found with an identical brother who had a little more patina over it just proofs it a 100%
        Kind regards,
        Giel

Thanks Giel. It's pretty much the same feel I get with their IAB, (ie. early flat catch IAB). Interesting too, that it's not uncommon to see several saw cuts, rather than one on the early Junckers. The finish also varied from early to late too, wouldn't you agree?

                      Hi Giel,

Very nice addition my friend, gorgeous original Juncker with a great amount of finish remaining.

However, I would disagree respectfully about the cleaning, I think it has been cleaned. The milky-looking areas around the edges reminds me of cleaned badges IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Cleaned or not...I wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

                              Great job!
