    GAB in bronce???

    What is it?

I´ve got it today from a good source, thought on the first view it is a tombak one with partitional gone silvering. But looking at home it looks like a zinc one with honest used bronze finish. But they should only exist in silver...

Nice zinc based Juncker GAB. Typical of these to lose much of their finish, and what you think is "bronze," is the copper underlayer, which was applied before a Brennlac finish was applied --mainly to make the finish last longer.

interesting. Very interesting. I didnt know of that, a zink based badge, coated with copper, and then finished with silver. Sounds like much work at production.

              Thanks for great explanation!
