    Hi Frank,

No, this is a cast fake based on the Zimmermann design.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Ok, but this is a stamped hollow-back , not cast.....or maybe I'm using the wrong terminology? Frank

          Hi Frank!

Original hollow-back badges were produced with using of stamping. Fakes are commonly die-casted. According to the photos, the badge has poor details like typical copies.

By the way, It is well aged, and even has imitation of "bubbling". Dangerous peace of s**t

            Frank,
As noted not a good one. The big give away is the lack of detail on this example. Hollowback badges will be crisp in appearance with sharp details.

The reverse set up also helps condemn these

              regards
