    Hi guys

Norm, you are right, these Schickle-like hollow badges are not identical to F&R IABs, but they are much closer than the Schickle design IMO. However, all 3 are very similar and I see your point, it could go either way.

The different hardware to F&R-marked badges carries more weight, and you for sure have a good point here. You mention that the hardware is an exact match to that found on the Schickle GABs. Can you show some of these GABs you are talking about? I have only 1 Schickle GAB on file with this type of hardware, and its labeled as questionable because of the finish and sloppy cutouts of the swastika. I believe it is a good one, but to be sure I would like to see a few more of these GABs with this type of hardware.

    Thanks

    Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

      Hi Tom,

Sorry, that was my typo. I meant PAB, not GAB. As you know the "Schickle-type" zinc PAB comes with two different hinge setups, the flange-less hinge and the square-cornered flanged copper-tone hinge which matches the "Type 2 die" IAB.

      Best regards,
      ---Norm
