    Infantry Assault Badge - semi-hollow - maker?

    Hello everyone,

I got this Infantry Assault Badge in bronze which looks to be a semi-hollow construction. I never had this type before.

Can someone help out with the maker maybe?

    Many thanks!
    Klaus

    Hello Klaus,

in my opinion it's an original IAB attributed to the unknown maker "H".

    Best regards

      Hi Klaus,

I can only agree with Sven, a very nice original by a still unknown maker, who also made the "H" marked hollow IABs.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

              Hi Klaus

Not easy to find this variant in Bronze.

And as others have pointed out, this IAB is still an unknown maker, and nicknamed "H", because of hollow badges with this design, carry a marking that looks like an "H".

              cheers

                Hi Klaus

I agree with the others, this semi-hollow variant is referred to as an "H" example because of the reasons stated.

It's been my experience that the bronze variation of this design is more prevalent than the silver examples.

                Best Regards, fischer
