Bandenkampf grouping - not an every day find!

Hello everyone,

I bought this straight from his son. He dedicated the war diary to him by the way, but sadly he was not interested. The Anti-Partisan Badge is not mentioned in the Soldbuch. In my opinion for a good reason. It looks like there was a paper removed on the brown cover (inside). Did they make the entry of the Bandenkampfabzeichen on a separate paper maybe?
Luckily there is an original portrait of him wearing the badge.

Very nice gruping from antipartisan fighting in former Yugoslavia (Fiume .Klana..). As POW (after in YUGO POW) he was very good reason to remowe page with orders from soldbuch and have very big luck to survive .Big fighting was there on end of war .

Very nice grouping Klaus. I can't be judgemental on the vet's son as we never know what this family been through during and/or after the war and how many bad memories these items carry with them. One can never know what another person feels.
Long time ago when my grandpa's sister died he didn't go to the funeral. People in the village where saying: "what kind of person is he? He doesn't care that his sister died". But the truth was that he was so sad for the loss of his sister that the thought and feeling of attending her funeral was unbearable.

I consider this man very lucky since he survived few months of anti-partisan warfare along one of the most dangerous sectors of the north-eastern italian front as member of the Geb.Jg.Rgt. 903 (former Res.Geb.Jg.Rgt. 138), the fierce fightings against the partisans units during april-may 1945 around Clana and the "Hungermarsch" in Yugoslavia as POW.
Very interesting convolut, even if I strongly doubt this is the badge he was wearing the day he was caught as POW by the partisans, otherwise he would had been very likely executed on the spot; the Sonnenrad was erased as already seen few times so I suspect used as 57 version post war too.
Strange there's no entry for the BKA, usually listed on the awards page which is still there as far as I can see.
The removed additional page should be the Bandenkampftagenliste, as often happens.
