    Opinions on tank badge

As far as I can see there is nothing wrong with this badge, am I correct?
This is the only photo I have of it...

Thank you for any other opinions.

Based on these photos I would not dare to buy it...

I wouldn't put money down on it. Not enough info. based on this obverse shot alone. And, on top of that, if it's original, it's been polished to a high sheen.

Thanks guys, so basicaly, it is a polished and poorly photographe badge, on which no red flags are visible?
That was my impression as well.
And yes, it is purported to be a relic badge, in pretty nice condition for being outside for 70 years.

              Hi Jean-Loup,

Looks like an original Wurster, but heavily polished up like the guys have said. I think the obverse still has a lot of dried polish paste still on it, which would probably clean up with soap and water. But these Wursters are pretty common, so best to wait for a nicer one that has not been messed with IMO.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

My thoughts are that this is a massive Wurster tombac example. Were this the case it would be very desirable.
