I have been offered this IAB, but even I think it is a bit odd and I'm rubbish at this game. So is this a fake?

The badge is good. A well worn zink silver IAB attributed to S&L with long barrel.
The silver wash all but gone on this example.

I agree with the others that it looks to be a good one.
You mentioned the pin looks odd, but this type of set up is very nice imo.
You said you were rubbish at this
Check out the shape of the swastika on this type of IAB compared to other makers
