Say I think you guys on the other side of the big pond all started breeding programs for the little buggers. I really have no luck at all when it comes to PAB's lately

Why oh why does RRS seems to be the only user of the "Wernstein design" not satisfied with the plain grass are.

I can understand why they weren't happy and IMO the more complex grass are looks much better. But what happened, did they rework the die themself or did they give the die maker a call to tell him that he had to do a better job

Thanks Philippe. I just got back from the MAX. Had a great time. Met some of the guys, drank beer, whiskey, and fondled badges. Picked up these three. Saw some others but the prices made JC look cheap. I saw a dealer with a EWE and AS in a triangle asking $450 for each. I also saw about 200 flat backed fakes with every mm ever made, even if that maker never made a PAB. Luckily I have installed my PAB files on my PDA. It really makes a difference.

Well that kind of money would buy you a nice zink unmarked coastal arti, an unmarked zink luftflak and a zink minesweeper and still leave you with enough change to pick up a nice IAB or GAB along the way

If this is a reflection of what PAB collecting will be in a few years from now I feel pitty for the younger collectors.

The rest of us should be very gratefull that we started collecting them when we did.

Great haul, good to see the MAX was good for that (even among the sea of fakes). Not even for an EWE (which I don't have) would I shell out anything like $450, that dealer must be nuts.

Very nice!! The key to the MAX is to arrive Thursday or Friday. By Saturday, guys like you have purchased all the original examples

i, being a new collector, have been waiting for a PAB for a long time...it's very frustrating...they're either too much, not quite right or sold before i get the chance...*sigh*
