Heer Flak WH Wien for opinions

    Hi,
this one is my recent purchase. May I have your opinions on it. Also, black marks around hinge and catch means repairs or just leftover from soldering process.
    Thanks in advance,
    Andrei

Perfect original - NOT repaired. This is how they were made.

              Thanks guys,
IMO sloppy soldering job on catch is one of the WH heer flak characteristic.

                Hello Andrei,

Very nice original Hobacher. I would also agree that the catch has not been repaired. Hobachers are known for the over-abundant use of soldering paste.

                Best regards,
                Tom

Thanks Tom for this info about soldering paste.
Now it makes sense for me why it looks like some kind of greasy material. Every day learn something new, thank to the forum members.

                    Hi Andrei,

Very nice original, and too would say the catch is not repaired. You can see the same dark-colored solder under the hinge as well.

                    Nice, rare original Hobacher.

                    Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
