    GAB, opinions needed

    Hello,
    may I have your opinion on this GAB and possible maker. Interesting catch plate, just half of round.

      Hi Andrei,

      Fine original IMO. Its a pretty common GAB, associated with Biedermann & Co based on one of these being found with a partial GAB packet. Typically the hardware was crimped in, but can also be found soldered on (likely due to the failure of the crimping tool later in the war, which we see with other makers too like FLL.
