PAB and IAB for your opinions

I got these badges along with a few other stuff from a lady stated that she'd got them from her dad. Please help me identify if these are original or not.

Both are good, the pab is an unmarked frank and Reif, and the Iab is attributed to juncker

the IAB is an original so called "Slim Stalk" IAB attributed to Juncker. The needle is a replacment in my opinion.

Both original I agree, Im sure we will all debate over the needle, although its obvious that its been worked on..

I agree, nice Original pieces. The repair on the needle is somthign I haven't seen before. Look like they put both ends in some kind of cilinder and turned the pin upside down through the hinge. Strange part is that it looks like it has the original Juncker finish all over it. Could you make some extra close ups?

Here is the badge under the natural sun light. It has about 90% finish remained. As for the pin goes, it does looks like it has some finish on it, and the previous owner said she'd got from her dad who brought back from the war along with a couple of iron crosses (I'll post a review soon) and some other items, if it was replaced, I can only assume it was the wartime repair perhaps??!

It's an original later pattern Juncker, in the silver grade, that's seen better days. Don't know why someobody would bother with a complicated repair on the pin like that, because there's nothing there to give it any "spring". "Wartime" repair or someone's highschool shop project, who knows...

I too have never seen a repair like this, but I like it alot. Looks well done. Nice original Juncker, with typical plated finish.

I'm sorry to offend you about the guess of the repair on the needle time line. You're right, it could be some high school kids work on it just last week. It was because of couple of knowledgeable helpers had never seen this repair construction technique before, so I thought I would want to give a little history may be to help them see the difference of repair techniques between the wartime and later. Again, it could be the previous owner's grand child did the repair or the old lady did it herself.
