I may give an opinion but please always wait for the more informed and experts, my opinion is VERY novice.
Trust me I had thousands of pounds worth of fakes, the only one I would wait out on the Luft GAB, but even so I see a fault straight away in my mind.

Still don't like the Destroyer, look at it, the eagle the gun detail etc......it may have the traits but why is the hinge and catch gone ? Because its the big give away !

If they bend then they are only good enough for fishing wieghts. As for the destroyer- I wouldn't buy a badge that does not have the reverse setup.
Marcus- you are correct about being suspicious when the pins/catches are missing. That is one of the tricks for passing a bad badge. Another is to de-nazify it, After all, who would de-nazify a repro?
As a note, pins and catches did get knocked off and you can find many badges with period repairs. They did wear these things daily, and in combat, so you have to expect some damage now and then.

Hello Jack,
I would say that all these badges are crude fakes with the exception of the S.H.u.Co. Destroyer Badge. I think that your Destroyer Badge is probably ok.
Here is an original from my collection. Compare your badge with these pictures. If your badge is solid, and does not bend, I would say it is good. The badge should be slightly concave.

Hey Jack,
Here is the reverse. Notice the shape of the hinge base and the catch plate. Do you see how the shapes of those solder areas on your badge match up to the shapes of the hardware on this original badge? Compare the maker mark. Looks the same to me.

I too believe that the destroyer badge is the real deal. I have the same maker and the details on yours mirrors mine. I dont think the Luft Ground Assault badge is though.
