Silver Anti partisan Badge - Opinions please

Hello, do you like this badge??

    Thank you
    Andrea

Definitely Juncker and the "signature" twist in the blade leaves no doubt in my mind. I honestly don't know alot else except to say it's either a type 1 or 2.

It is an original Juncker type 1, but it has a strange cut, there's a remnant of metal in front of the snake's head (on the left).
The pin (near the hinge) from what I see was resoldered.

      Is this badge yours?

      My books:

      - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
      - THE SS TK RING
      - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
      - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
      - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

      and more!

Looks to be a repaired crack in the wreath at the ten o'clock reverse?

The badge is not mine, I put pictures on forum in order to know if it is original......

            Thank you for your opinion!

More than a 'crack' in the wreath....It was split right-through at one time. It seems these were prone to breaking quite a bit. I figure I came across at least 10 that had split wreaths or broken right in-half in the 34-years I've been buying & collecting Third Reich.

You've really got to watch how you inspect these pieces! Some owners have been known to have a 'broken' one & used "Crazy Glue" to put the pieces together again so, do not try to bend the piece for any reason!

In my opinion this badge was never broken complete through.Maybe there was a repair on the 10 o´clock position, but not more.

This badge have a unusual die and is very interesting imo.The finish is for a type 1 also in very nice condition.

                Regards
                Joe

I like this badge alot. Type 1 has the lower daggerhilt dot misaligned to the left, Type 2 has the same lower dot going right. Type 1 sculls are slimmer and with less detail than the broader one on Type 2 that often has very good detailing showing dots that marks were the main scullplates meets.

On this particular Type 1 I don't see any cracks going all the way through, maybe better pics can enlighten us. Also I don't see any soldering to the hinge. These Type1 badges usually has lost most of the finnish so IMO this badge wasn't worn that much.

Very interesting to see the missing cutout between the left hydra and the daggerblade. I wonder if this usually was cut out by saw or a trimmertool. If you look at the two cutouts they are quite rough which suggest either a drilling device or a punch.
