Couple of new Close Combat Spanges

    Top is a FLL.

Bottom is what I believe to be a unmarked S&L.

    Opinions welcome.

    Thanks,
    Howard

S&L and FLL in bronze. Unfortunately the unmarked S&L is missing the backplate. Other than the finishes look like they either completely absorbed into the base metal or evaporated from constant wear.

Please tell me what is wrong with these clasps. They both look legit to me. Maybe worn and dull, but legit.

              Hi Howard,

Both fine originals, no problems for me.

The FLL even has its original backplate, which is always nice to see. The crappy crimping used by FLL tends to loose their plates pretty easily, so its always good to see one that survived all these years.

The 2nd one is indeed an S&L, they are always unmarked.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
