I can only agree, a very nice original.

Its a shame we cannot figure out the maker of this one, its a pretty common type of GAB to be found, and therefore I would think its a pretty big name we are all familiar with. We'll get it one day, only a matter of time

Quite a distinctive eagle design, and referred to as "unknown #8"

Although yours is lacking the finish, it is still a nice example, and I would like to use it in our GAB database if you do not mind. Ideally scans with a light background.

Yours has the less common circular catch plate.
