Yes Frank, the early Aluminum Juncker Heer Paras are anodized aluminum. Same with the early Assmann and Juncker aluminum LW badges (Pilot, ROAG, etc.).

Now that I know anodising was in use it could also have been used for a late war
belt buckle which is the purpose of this enquiery.
