I see no issues and believe it to be original, but there are others with far more expertise on these than I, so definitely wait for their opinions. I'm only chiming in to help as I sneaking in a quick peek for the few minutes we have free between church and a family get together.
      Happy Easter,
      Dale

          Hello Andrea,
          hello Chris

It looks real great, but I am not sure and please let me state my "concerns":...I don´t want to talk this badge to "bad"

The needle is to long IMO

The number 100 and the number plate is not ok IMO

Finish is not ok IMO, a bit to gilden maybe??

The left rivet near the catch is to large IMO

          What do you think???

          KR

          Martin

EDIT: Also I have the impression the bajonett and grenade are a bit out of dimension....are there different prodiction variants???

Martin, thank you for expressing your opinion, why do you have suspicions about the number 100 and the number plate?

Just had a look at Frank's book,to me that is a fine original ,a real beauty.
                Congrats on a great find.

                  Hello Andrea,

                  hello all,

well, seeing all the opinions of the other members I am very unsecure now.

IMO everything seems a bit out of dimension, out of size.

the colour of the "100" is not right IMO, there are slight differences in the form of the "0" and in the "1". Also the area around the number, the number plate and the number box are a bit out of dimension IMO.....everything is to tight.

on the other hand grenade and bayonete are a bit to large IMO.
Once again I do not want to "fool" this badge, I see just some slight differences....

But maybe I am a bit TO CAUSIOUS, TO CAREFUL and tend to see errors, where no are. So please excuse my negative statement about this badge.

                  Thanks and regards

                  Martin

I am more than willing to learn something new with this but I dont see anything wrong with it at all...I especially love the finish and typical wear pattern of it.

Happy Easter to everyone as well!

                      Regards,
                      Chris G.

I cannot see anything wrong with it, we see these originals so rarely some times we try to make them be fake
                        Original IMO

Everything looks great! Exactly how a JFS 100 should look like, even the bottom left rivet. I've also seen this before in some 75's.

                            Hi guys,

No problems for me, looks like a VERY fine original in great condition.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little
