    Unique Variant Sniper Badge

Comments wanted but only from those who know what they are talking about

    Unique Variant
    Definitely pre-1945
Straight from the manufacturer – not messed with, or period repaired by a veteran, or a veteran want-to-be, or by anyone else.

I know I am not supposed to advertise on this site but – if you want it contact me ASAP – to my knowledge none of the major collectors and I mean none!! – have this in their collection.

    Hi Specer,

    Any provenance with this piece?

How do you know it is "definitely pre-1945"?

Can we see some closeups, looks nice and well made from this distance?

    Thanks

    Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

Spencer, why do you think this metal badge should be a pre '45 piece?

      My books:

      - THE WEHRPAß & SOLDBUCH OF THE WH
      - THE SS TK RING
      - THE ITALIAN-GERMAN MEDAL
      - THE ANTI PARTISAN BADGE
      - THE AWARDS OF THE LW

      and more!

        Hello Spencer,

Sorry, but that item has no chance of being an original Sniper Badge. It is actually a modern "replica" produced by Oryon. This company makes all sorts of replica badges and they sell them just as that: replicas.

        Best regards,
        Tom

Here is a closer look of what these replicas look like: They are cast, white metal and painted.

And if anyone wants to buy one, you can always find them for sale on ebay.

Such rare things shouldn't be posted here, especially the rare original Ersatz material packaging!
