      It appears to be a nice, unmarked, early badge made of tombak (note the brass color where the barrel meets the turret), though I'm not an expert on how to tell which maker it 's from. The finish seems right to me.

      We should wait for some of the PAB guys to weigh in, though.

        Interesting badge. At first glance it looks like a Meyer or F&R. The thing that throws me is the loaders viewing port. Not smooth like I would expect to see on one of those makers. I still think it's probably a Meyer with just the tinyest difference.

                Very nice PAB...I saw an identical one at the SOS this year but the guy wanted 2.5 million for it...so I passed on it.
