Just for my own knowledge, has anyone else seen that type of hinge on a tombak S&H like this? I usually only see the type of hinge seen in Franks book, but I know he didn't capture all of the variants

thanks for your kind comments - much appreciated.

Here are two close-ups of thec hinge and the catch. I can't see any sign of a repair at the hinge --> In my opinion it is original like this, but I would be interested in further comments, too!

Looks good to me a very nice gab, I've never seen this hinge on an S&H gab either so an uncommon variant IMO
