Hi Alex, indeed a textbook Type1 which, with the no cutouts, means that this was probably made very close to the bombing of Juncker

                Hi Alex,

Very nice original Juncker, excellent condition too. Very nice example.

Thomas, I have always been a bit curious on the nomenclature we use on the APBs. You say this is a Type 1, but yet it is probably the last production run before Juncker got bombed out. Wouldn't that make the Type 2s earlier than this and therefore does it make sense to switch the nomenclature so that it matches the production timeline?

                Thanks

                Tom
If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

That's my thought about the nomenclature: it would be better change it, even for new collectors, it can cause a little confusion...

The nomenclatura was created before I found out about the production timeline. I agree that it afterwards can be a bit confusing, but Im confident that the average collector after studying a bit can figure it out. I would be very sorry if it was changed now after it has been used for years, and I fear that it would confuse even more. I also think that finding these oddities adds magic to a world that strives after perfection.
