Promising, most likely original, but you need better pics. Looks like the catch is broken as you say

Yes, looks like an original to me as well but like Chad says the catch is obviously missing. Looks to be some zinkpest as well, meaning it could have been stored in wet conditions and could also affect the way the finish appears. Better pics are needed to be sure of the condition and grade IMO.
