      Hello,

better shot from the eagle's head would be good, I would say a Juncker.

        Hello Fors,

in my opinion it's a original unmarked Deschler IAB or a so called "Deschler Mutant" IAB.
To be sure there have to be better pictures of the eagles head.

You are right Sven, I knew there is something wrong with my statement, because of the pin and catch, I always forgot this variant.

Indeed an original Deschler mutant IAB. One of the nicest crispiest designs.
              Kind regards,
              Giel

                Hi,

thanks for the additional pictures. As Giel already mentioned it's a so called Deschler Mutant IAB.

AGREED, nice original mutant. Finish looks to be in excellent condition, despite what looks to be some old zinkpest spots.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

It is indeed a very nice and good ISA, with all its original finish!

                      Hi Fors

I agree, a nice original with what appears to be a good finish still intact.

This particular IAB does have many characteristics associated with the marked L/10 Deschler IABs (and the unmarked IABs that have the same design as the marked L/10), but I do not believe that there is solid evidence that your badge is definitely made by Deschler, although as you can see it does have the nickname "Deschler mutant".

                      best regards
                      Graeme
