I would like to ask those of you that study these badges if you might give me an opinion on this APB. I have had this badge since the 80's and never gave it a thought until recently. I always assumed it was a correct piece but as I look at some posted now I am no longer sure that this is an accepted version. Years ago everyone stayed away from the thin pin version and preferred the wide magnetic pin version as this one is. Also i remember preferences as to which way the twist in the sword hilt went, but I notice many that are deemed original seem to have a more pronounced twist to the right than mine. Can I ask your thoughts on this one?
